The GreatUV Torch Light UV50-S is a 365nm UV LED torch designed with a unique filter for applications where the amount of visible light is critical, such as non-destructive testing.  The filter eliminates the white light from the lamp as well as reduces the glare illuminating aluminum when you use the lamp in combination with UV block goggles.

The UV50-S produces a nominal steady-state UV-A intensity of 25,000 µW/cm² at 15 inches (38 cm).The UV light beam size is ∮50mm at 15 inches (38 cm). It meets ASTM UV-A wavelength and intensity specifications for FPI and MPI. It comes complete with a certificate of compliance for wavelength and output measurements.

UV50-S torch reaches full power instantly. The on/off button is positioned at the tail of the lamp to prevent accidental activation. The length of the lamp is 158mm and weighs 235 grams, including battery. The torch contains one ultraviolet light emitting diode (LED) that peaks at 365 nm. The life of each LED is estimated at 20,000 hours.

The battery has a running time of 6 hours (+/- 5%) and charge time 5 hours. It comes complete with a lanyard, two rechargeable Li-ion batteries, a 100-240V AC charger, and a pair of UV-absorbing spectacles. All components are packed in a padded carrying case.
